Brooke (She/Her) graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Sydney in 2003. Since graduation her career has focused on developing exceptional clinical reasoning and hands on manual skills. This desire has led her to complete her Masters of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from Griffith University in 2010.

Brooke’s extensive clinical experience has been in both the private practice & elite sporting team setting. Brooke has and is currently working with a varied number of sports at both the elite and recreational level including:

Samantha Schneider

Samantha (She/Her) graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Sydney in 1999. Since her graduation her career has focused on finding the answers for her patients and addressing the cause not just the symptoms. She has developed a particular interest in the challenge on ongoing spinal and pelvis pain and has tutored many physiotherapists on effective treatment approaches.

Samantha has worked in a variety of clinical settings including overseas and has been working in private practice for over 16 years. In this time she has focused on developing strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills to assist her to find lasting solutions for her patients.

She has been part of developing physiotherapist delivered exercise classes and has extensive experience in both the delivery of exercise classes to clients and in training other physiotherapists. 

In recent years the arrival of three children has added an interest of assisting the musculoskeletal management of pregnancy and post natal complaints. 

Samantha is committed to providing the latest and most effective evidence based techniques to achieve optimal outcomes for her clients. Her treatment approach is based on a detailed musculoskeletal assessment with exercise as a core component of the rehabilitation process. This process is enhanced with extensive experience in both Real Time Ultrasound and Dual Channel EMG biofeedback

Anthony Rodier

Anthony (He/Him) is driven to help people find solutions to their health challenges. Using manual therapy, advice and exercise prescription, he helps solve and overcome musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgery, pain and movement problems. 

Anthony graduated from Sydney University with a bachelor of applied science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. Since that time, he has combined his previous experience in industrial design to think outside the square to solve his clients’ problems. 

Over the years, Anthony has been actively engaged in various sports and has a special interest in back and neck pain. His philosophy in helping solve clients’ problems is modern, holistic and supported by the latest research. 

 

Lisa Mains

Lisa (She/Her) has over 10 years of physiotherapy experience. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expert clinical reasoning in the assessment of complex cases and their long term management. 

In addition to being in the final stages of completing her Masters in Sports end Exercise Physiotherapy from La Trobe University, Melbourne, she obtained her Physiotherapy degree from the University of Sydney in 2013 & an honours degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in Canada. 

Lisa's mission is to provide you with evidence-based, client-centered care. She understands that each injury is unique, and your recovery process should be tailored to your individual needs, goals, and values. 

Lisa collaboratively creates personalised treatment plans, ensuring that you and your goals are at the centre of your rehabilitation journey. Lisa employs a combination of manual therapy and hands-on treatment techniques, complemented by personalised exercise programming and education, helping you understand your body and how to maintain optimal performance.

Throughout her career, Lisa has managed a diverse caseload, working with people of all ages and athletes ranging from weekend warriors to international representatives. Her experience extends across various sports, including rugby, football, hockey and cricket. Currently, she works with Gymnastics NSW at the state and national levels.

Lisa is passionate about your well-being and success, and she's dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.

 

Jen McCourt

Jen is originally from Ireland, living in Australia for 16 years and has a Masters of Physiotherapy and Bachelors of Sport and Exercise Science.   

Jen has worked in high performance sport, for the last 10 years. She has been extremely fortunate to have a number of roles as a Sports Trainer, Massage Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach. She has held positions at the QBE Sydney Swans in their AFL, AFLW and Academy programs, and recently a physiotherapist internship with the Sydney Kings NBL Team.  

Jen prides herself in her experience in elite sport and intends to bring this treatment philosophy to the team and clients at DPPSM.  She looks forward to building strong and meaningful relationships, working collaboratively with her clients. Jen will bring the most up-to-date evidence-based practices to her clients concerns for the best possible outcomes.

Zena Metcalfe

Remedial Massage Therapist

Zena (She/Her) graduated with a degree from Manchester University in Sport and Environmental Studies majoring in Physiology. Zena later went on to study remedial massage and has been practising for over 20 years. A keen cyclist, both mountain and road, she now divides her time between massage and cycle education.

Using a combination of techniques to suit individual needs, Zena enjoys working with people specialising in remedial, sports, relaxation and pre-natal massage and takes a holistic, client centred approach to her work.

The team at Dynamic Performance Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine are thrilled to have a massage therapist of Zena’s quality and experience to enhance the delivery of the client focussed, solution driven service they are so well known for. Zena is available for you to see in conjunction with your physiotherapy programme or as a stand alone service.

Katherine Fuz

Katherine (She/Her) joined the DPPSM team in 2017. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Sydney University in 1999 and worked as an ICU nurse and clinical educator for 16 years at St George Hospital. Katherine completed the WLA Advanced Leadership Course in 2021/22.

Katherine recognises the important roles that effective communication, collaboration, understanding and empowerment have in ensuring optimal healthcare outcomes for every individual.

Katherine is passionate about creating and fostering an environment and culture that facilitates continuous and supportive growth, where team members can develop and innovate in their chosen field, striving daily to meet the DPPSM core values of Excellence, Commitment, Reliability, Respect, and Inclusivity.

Melissa (She/Her) joins the Dynamic Performance Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine team in the role of Administrative Assistant. Melissa has a genuine love of customer service and thrives on ensuring that all of our clients receive a warm welcome and positive experience both when they phone and visit our practices.

Melissa's strong corporate background has developed her superior communication and office skills and she is proud to be part of our supportive and dynamic team.

Jennifer (She/Her) has extensive customer service experience gained whilst working at Sydney International Airport. Enjoying interaction with people, she strives to assist them with care, respect, and compassion. She joins Dynamic Performance Physiotherapy in the role of Administrative Assistant working closely with Melissa and the Stanmore admin staff, to support the team and ensure that all clients receive a warm welcome.

Having previously enjoyed a career as a Registered Nurse, Annette looks forward to transferring her knowledge and experience to the role of Administrative Assistant. Aamal joins the Dynamic Performance Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine team in the role of Administrative Officer. She is excited to begin her journey in healthcare with us and is eager  to provide positive client experiences . She is passionate about health and well-being and is currently studying a Bachelors of Exercise Science and Masters of Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology at the University of New South Wales with a desire to specialise in Sports Physiotherapy in the future.
